Silver's Limited - Ancestor Corporation
Silver’s Limited was established in 1897 by H.R. Silver - originally established for the import and export of a variety of commodities such as Salt Fish, Potatoes and Molasses (Silver’s Lasses Molasses) the company grew into property investment, financing and sponsorships.
Some of the more Notable projects this ancestor company was involved with include the Sponsorship / Financing of the Original Bluenose I, the financing of the Lord Nelson Hotel and the Development of the Silversides Subdivision
In 1930, in address to Market Conditions this Ancestor Company was reorganized and re-founded at Silver’s Agencies Limited which saw it offering a more expansive roster of Services which continue to grow today

We are one of the oldest independent, privately held Marine Surveying Firms in the world. Our staff Surveyors have experience stretching from Pre-Containerization, and have real hands-on in-house experience through to the current State of the Art Vessels, methods and cargoes. Our Services have been recognized Internationally and we have been in demand, on sites throughout North America, Central America, South America, Asia and Europe.
